FOUNDATION - Windamir was founded in 1988 with the purchase of a little red pup, AGBPA Champion Kismet's Red Falcon CDX, who became the foundation of Windamir. A National Specialty winner with an AGBPA Obedience title, he was the only GP to hold both titles until 1996 when his son, Kismet's Red Snapper equaled him. Since then, Windamir has gone on to achieve multiple national and international titles. .

In 2002, Ch. LaZar Des Charmettes CD was the second German Pinscher to achieve an AKC obedience title. LaZar is a top producer in the breed being the sire of the first and only AKC agility titlists (Ch. Blue Banners High Noon), the first AKC obedience titlist (Windamir's Hunter), and numerous AKC champions.

Through the years, Windamir consistently produced German Pinschers of outstanding versatility and conformation. Importing quality dogs from countries such as Holland, Germany, France, Sweden, Austria, and Czechoslovakia has allowed Windamir to continually improve its bloodlines.
