FOUNDATION - Des Charmettes - Robin Vullermet obtained her first German Pinscher, a gift from her future husband, in 1989 while living in France. Des Charmettes Kennel was founded upon their return to the US in 1990.

THE FRENCE CONNECTION - Des Charmettes began with French imports from De La Capelliere Kennel in France. Jambo de la Capelliere, Gigi de La Capelliere, and Lara de la Capelliere are but a few of these outstanding imports. Orbit des Charmettes, Ibex des Charmettes, and Ch. Lazar Des Charmettes CD are but a few of the outstanding winners and producers of des Charmettes.

Des Charmettes German Pinschers has bred and or owned every German Pinscher Club America National Specialty breed winner since 1994 up to and including 2002. We had the number one ranking German Pinscher in the rare breed forum for many years. Des Charmettes German Pinschers has garnered FCI Champion and International titles the world over including, Italy, Hungry, France, Finland, Switzerland, Costa Rica and Mexico to name a few.

WORLD CHAMPIONS - We are the only breeders in the United States to have produced FCI titled German Pinschers to date. We have won the coveted World Champion or Reserve World Champion titles many times over the years and we have had many Junior World Champions as well. We were awarded Best of Opposite at Finland’s National Specialty in 1998. We are also proud to have had the number 1 German Pinscher in the Canadian Kennel Club in 2000.

SERVICE - While Robin was the president of the German Pinscher Club of America, they actively pursued AKC recogition. She was instrumental in obtaining this recogition from AKC while President and AKC club liaison.
